In January 1916 the first tank, known as ‘Mother’ was sent by train to Hatfield House. To mark the 100th anniversary in 2016 a full sized replica Mark IV Tank was in situ for the duration of the season.
The Tank may have since left but The Game Fair is bringing out the big guns…
The Manufacturers Village is a new addition to Gunmakers’ Row at The Game Fair 2017 taking place at Hatfield House form 28-30 July.
Populated by GMK, Ruag, Browning, Anglo Spanish Imports and Anglo Italian Arms, this area allows customers to interact and learn about the products 1st hand. This area is a ‘must visit’ for anyone in the market for a new gun with advice direct from the manufacturers.
Warren Thackeray, GMK Marketing Manager commented “GMK will take pride of place within the Manufacturers Village on Gunmakers’ Row at The Game Fair 2017. Exhibiting at The Game Fair is an important and tactical business decision and GMK stand strong alongside industry counterparts. We are grateful to The Game Fair team for picking up the reins and preserving this event as a National Institution”
David Stapely, UK Country Manager for Browning, added “Browning are delighted to be returning to the The Game Fair 2017 at Hatfield house. The Game Fair has always been a summer country tradition where we look forward to meeting shooters and presenting new and existing products. This year will be no different and with the added excitement of a fabulous new venue!
As well as meeting people in The Manufacturers Village, we will also be offering the opportunity for customers to try a selection of guns in our exclusive testing area on the shooting line”.
The Manufactures Village adds a dimension not seen at The Game Fair before. Commercial Director, Catherine Chapman said “For consumers to have direct access to the manufacturers is an exciting and dynamic approach to marketing their brands, offering expertise and knowledge straight for the manufacturer. A further feather in the cap of The Game Fair, offering brands a showcasing opportunity as well as supporting their dealers, at what is now undisputedly the leading field sports event”.
