The Game Fair joins forces with renowned jam maker Tiptree to offer visitors the quintessential English experience

Visitors to The Game Fair will be treated to Tiptree’s delicious fruit-based products at this year’s event, which is being held from Friday 28 to Sunday 30 July at Hatfield House in Hertfordshire.

As a Royal Warrant holder, Wilkin & Sons Ltd, makers of heritage brand Tiptree, has been growing fruit and making preserves since 1885.  Based in Essex, the Tiptree fruit farm covers 850 acres and part of it used to grow a wide range of fruit that is used in the production of preserves, condiments, juices and fruit gins.

As well as exhibiting at the three-day event, Tiptree will be serving their award-winning products in the Enclosure, bar and Village Green area. Plus visitors that upgrade their entry to a Gold Package will be treated to a fruit gin tasting and Platinum Package holders will receive afternoon tea. Furthermore, the brand will be raising funds for The Game Fair’s official charity – the Lord’s Taverners.

Scott Goodfellow, director of Wilkin & Sons Ltd, said he was delighted to be partnering with The Game Fair. “It’s the perfect setting for guests to relax, scoff a jammy scone, and sip a Tiptree cocktail; all whilst raising funds for the Lord’s Taverners charity. We have previously offered our Tiptree preserves at the show, but this time we are planning something a little bit different. We’ll have fruit gin liqueurs in the cricket pavilion, cream teas in the Enclosure, and of course, a lovely selection of jams and marmalades to sample and purchase throughout the show.”

The Game Fair’s managing director James Gower added: “The Tiptree brand is perfectly aligned to The Game Fair’s marque of quintessential Englishness. This new partnership was an obvious one, after all The Game Fair is a celebration of the great British countryside.”
