Falconry is one of the oldest field sports in the world, with a history spanning more than 4,000 years. It remains the longest surviving field sport and is recognised by UNESCO as part of the world’s Intangible Cultural Heritage — a distinction that falconers are exceptionally proud of.

At The Game Fair, the Falconry Mews showcases a spectacular variety of birds of prey, offering visitors the opportunity to see these magnificent hawks, falcons, eagles and owls up close. Throughout the day, birds are flown in the Main Arena, demonstrating the remarkable skill, partnership and tradition that define this ancient sport.

Falconry has long been one of the most popular attractions at The Game Fair. Whether you are an experienced falconer or simply fascinated by these majestic birds, the Falconry Mews is an area not to be missed.

Falconry at The Game Fair is organised by Charlotte Hill of CJ’s Birds of Prey, whose expertise and passion help bring this historic field sport to life for visitors of all ages.
