Moatwood 1485

In 1485, Clement Higham built a beautiful country house. Using reclaimed beams from the original hall in nearby Moat Wood, his design embraced new ideas in both architecture and entertaining. And at its heart, a distillation malt house, surrounded by field of medicinal herbs and wildflowers.
A few hundred years on, we have combined Clement’s passion for experimentation with the abundance of borage growing on the property and created a wonderfully smooth, exhilarating gin.”
