The Game Fair Garden sponsored by Charles Stanley, created by Capel Manor

Charles Stanley announced as the official sponsor of this ambitious garden project

The Game Fair is delighted to announce that Charles Stanley, one of the UK’s leading wealth managers, is the official sponsor of the new Game Fair Gardens, taking place from 26thto 28thJuly at the historic Hatfield House.

Debuting at The Game Fair, Europe’s largest countryside festival, will be the installation of show gardens never seen on such a scale, covering over an acre of the vast site – brought to life by leading educational  institution Capel Manor College, of which Lady Salisbury of Hatfield House is Patron.

James Gower, Managing Director of The Game Fair said, “The partnership with Charles Stanley was a natural progression for the new Game Fair Gardens project. We like the idea that, when it comes to your finances there are things you need to do in the now, but you need to have the eye on your future, just as you do a similar thing with your garden – mow the lawn frequently, but plant for a future bloom.

He continued,“The synergy with the successful strategic planning that Charles Stanley prides itself on with its clients and the patience, forethought and design required to create these ambitious gardens, alludes to a partnership that will bloom and grow as the project develops. The Game Fair are delighted to have Charles Stanley on board for this pioneering new project.”

The Game Fair Gardens, designed by Capel Manor’s Royal Horticultural Society gold medallists, will create an immersive and interactive experience, telling the story of the countryside, estates, country gardens, traditional practices and innovations through a number of themed gardens.

Visitors can expect kitchen gardens, traditional crafts, art, sculpture and superb design at Hatfield House, which already has an international reputation among gardening enthusiasts. A stage at the centre of The Game Fair Gardens will also host Q&As, demos and debates.

John Porteous, Group Head of Distribution at Charles Stanley says: “Many of our clients are passionate about gardening and we are delighted to be able to provide the opportunity for them to join us at this spectacular show.  We have always developed and pushed boundaries throughout our long history and we are excited to be involved with this ambitious festival and the unique gardens now being created.”
